Our step sequencer lets you construct complex musical patterns and will bring you an unlimited supply of melodies and modulation ideas. Built around the concept of “sequencing the sequence”, the Komplex Sequencer is a powerful tool for anyone seeking to use a high-end hardware sequencer.
The Komplex Sequencer stays true to KOMA’s philosophy to interact with your gear like you would with an instrument; all features have their own dedicated controls, inputs and outputs on a large 87-point front-panel patch bay inviting you to instantly engage with the machine.
By patching both internal and external CV sources through the patch bay of the Komplex, you can control any parameter of the sequencer immediately and modulate your modulating modulation. Controls include Sequence Length, Sequence Start Point, Gate Length, Play Mode, Glide, Division, Transpose, Repeat and Skip Step. Additionally, the sequencer has a variable output range (optionally bi-polar) and also has a quantizer on board operable in different scales.
And not only is the sequencer compatible with almost any synthesizer with CV/Gate, MIDI Note, Velocity and CC information can also transmitted by any of the four sequencers so it can be integrated into any workflow. Lastly a seven bank CV Recorder is on board and can output up to 5 banks at once! The Komplex Sequencer opens up a whole new world of creative possibilities and starts where other sequencers have stopped.
